All about Skortshop

Skortshop skorts are  practical garments for super-active cartwheel loving girls. They are also a popular primary school sports uniforms made in Australia.

But if you’re wondering if there’s more to this story, then you’d be right! We actually go way back…

Skortshop was started back in 2007 by two mothers looking for a practical garment for their super-busy,  handstand-obsessed, dress-wearing pre-school daughters. 

After much trial and error, Skortshop’s flattering and practical skort was created by a wonderful Sydney cutter and talented makers with fastidious attention to detail.

Soon a few local schools started to incorporate Skortshop’s skorts into their sports uniform. Today they are worn by girls across Australia.

Still made in Sydney, Skortshop now additionally makes super comfortable bike shorts.

We are very happy with the Skortshop Skorts, the feedback from parents about fit and durability is great, and most importantly the kids love them. There are others in the market scrambling to copy these skorts but they don’t even come close to the quality and true sports garment fit of the Skortshop Skorts. I am delighted we are supporting Australian made and owned. Skortshop has been a delight to deal with.
